| What conditioning products are ppl using? I typically wash my hair every other day and I always use a "daily" conditioner after I wash it. But, I never do a deep conditioner. I use coconut oil on my hair prior to installing, but nothing when it's on my head. I have also noticed that lately my scalp is dry and flakey. When I remove, dye, clarify, and re-install, my scalp takes a beating. It gets very dried out from this. I can't put some super moisturizer on it because my glue and tape will disintegrate. It looks like I have horrible dandruff. Are dandruff and dry scalp the same thing? If they are then I do have horrible dandruff, but I really believe that it is due to the harsh products I use on my head combined with no "moisturizing". This is awful with my dark hair, since I work in the school district I worry that someone will think I have lice. I don't and never had .... ack! |

| | I been using the pureology hydrate conditioner, and the hydracure once a week, and a good one from Sally's is the Aphoghee keratin reconstructioner, it makes the hair so soft, when the ends are feeliing dry! |

| Oh I condition my hair every time I shampoo my head THATS pretty much every other day sometime everyday. I USE TAPE AND GLUE ALSO BUT I ONLY USE 1 long line around my head. I have never lost tape and no hair has ever fallen out , I always condition the top of my head always, I THINK even if you had tape and glue all over your head you could still condition your head at least 1 time a week with out it all falling out ? this tape and glue holds up pretty well if you as me
my Daughter put what ever conditioner and oily styling stuff all over her hair and she has never lost anything. I think if you have the time Just try it and if it falls be prepared to fix it all up .. but your poor head has to have moisture in it ...My hair is fried and it needs it,
I Just bend down - forward and rinse ? I know they say don't use conditioners with tape and clue I HAVE BEEN DOING IT FROM DAY 1
I use + I Switch back and forth with my bIolage shampoos for fine thin hair LOVE THAT STUFF But most of the time I just use Joico reconstructioner shampoo I LOVE THIS For my own HAIR IT NEEDS IT . Joico Silk Results Hair Smoothing Conditioner 10.1oz Joico Silk Results Hair Smoothing Shampoo 10.1 oz A feather-light conditioner that detangles and polishes fine/normal hair. Joico K-PAK Intense Hydrator 8.5oz Replenishes moisture and lipids to overly dry, damaged hair, rendering it manageable, soft, shiny and hydrated.Seals the cuticle and improves elasticity.
and then I USE when I AM DONE. MAIN AND TAIL DE TANGLER ITS AWESOME and now it smells great, and I also use position #9 for any dry hair and its just great - I have been using this for ever when my hair is dry and when I am flat ironing my hair I use matrix biolage Smoothing Shine Milk LOVE THAT STUFF
and then last but not least I LOVE MY GREAT SMELLING AND shiner of them all
REDKEN 01 outshine - THIS STUFF ROCKS AND SMELL GREAT AND MAKE IT SOFT ALSO shinnnnnnnne shinnnne shinne \

| | The apogee is awesome. I usually remove my install, color, redkin fat cat treatment and leave overnight caked with conditioner. i've been just now using Giovanni some kind of charged shampoo and conditioner. I don't have a rating yet on it, it works well, not too oily but not too dry. Now whether it lives up to what it says it does, not sure. |

| I agree on the Aphrogee too! I've used the Keratin reconstructer several times now after I take out my install, and I truly notice a huge difference in the condition of my hair! I've tried doing the coconut oil 'soak', and I've never seen any improvement. After my last hair trim, the stylest pointed out that my highlighted hair needs the proteins than just the oil, for a great treatment. She also informed me to look for conditioning products with avocado oil included in the ingredients....which the Aphrogee has. I haven't used the aphrogee on extension hair tho, just my own natural hair. |
